  • Health and Safety Standards:

We work very hard to keep a healthy and clean kennel environment. To achieve this goal, we ask that you help us by noting your dog’s coat and overall health condition before their stay. This helps us keep odors and pests at bay. We offer various add-on services that we are happy to schedule, such as daily coat maintenance, go-home baths, and full grooms upon request. However, if we find that your dog’s body condition doesn’t allow us to keep the facility odor and pest-free, we will add the services required to keep the environment and your furry friend as clean possible at the owners expense.

    Examples of this include:

-Removing and bathing any dog found to have Fleas.

-A long-haired geriatric dog that urinates on itself during the night requires a bath to remove odor and clean the dog.

-A heavily matted dog holding odor requires a bath to remove smells from themselves and the facility.

-Any high-odor-carrying dog needs a deodorizing bath.

-A double coated dog thats coat has not been maintained and is shedding excessively. This often includes Husky’s and Shepherds.

For the safety and sanity of our guests, females in heat will NOT be accepted for boarding. Additional boarding costs will be incurred if they go into heat during their stay.

We thank you for your understanding and help in keeping SCB&T a clean kennel environment.
