About Us
South County Board & Train provides a positively-enriched, private boarding experience for dogs in our 9-kennel facility—a perfect solution for pets who don't thrive in group settings. Owner Claudia Sala brings over 11 years of boarding and training experience to SCB&T. She aims to create a tailored boarding experience for each pet during their stay. Our property, tucked into the Berkshire landscape, ensures ample space for your furry friends to stretch their legs and a relaxing outdoor environment to explore and enjoy.
A focus on enrichment will round out your dog's stay. Owners have the option to select a variety of additional services to enhance their dog's boarding experience. Services range from daily coat maintenance to mentally stimulating activities like scent training, agility work, basic training, and extra play sessions for high-energy dogs. About The Owner
A Berkshire native and passionate about dogs from a young age, Claudia Sala started her career caring for shelter dogs at the Berkshire Humane Society. Interested in expanding her knowledge and expertise led her to pursue a career focused on dog training where she assisted and taught private and group classes. These classes ranged from a focus on basic household and leash manners to tricks training, and even more advanced skills such as nose work and agility. Now with over a decade of experience, Claudia enjoys helping people and their dogs have happy and fulfilled relationships through the use of positive-reinforcement science-based training. As the owner of South County Board & Train she looks forward to providing your canine family only the best, with an enriching home-away-from-home experience for years to come.
